This 8 week, meeting once each week, will focus on teaching our members basic self-defense in real life-situations, as well as how to train the total body in a cross-training style fitness platform.  The class will be instructed by Joe Bonica, a fifth degree blackbelt in jiu-jitsu and former senior instructor for the Model Muggings of Boston self-defense program.  Learn basic boxing, grappling and protection strategies in a fun, challenging, and focused environment.

Meet the Sensei  

Joe Bonica  - Joe has been a student of the arts for over 30 years, is a 5th degree blackbelt in Jiu-Jitsu, and holds instructor ranks in Indonesian stick and knife fighting, Muay Thai Kick Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  Joe has instructed police academies, military units, corporations, law enforcement units and everyday people on how to protect themselves in real situations.   Joe has developed a unique, simplistic and sometimes brutally effective approach to self-defense.
